STAR ACADEMY, JORHAT conceived and run by a group of experienced and qualified army officers with an aim to enhance awareness about entry into the armed forces.
- The Academy is presently operating from rented accommodation belonging to senior citizen forum, located at Samannay path close to Mission hospital, Jorhat. The academy hopes to shape and mould prospective students as responsible citizens by conducting series of lectures, counselling sessions and workshops.
- Students will be divided into three categories; Primary (class V to VIII), Intermediate (class IX & X) and Secondary (class XI & XII).
- Rally based training for entry as other rank will be conducted from time to time.
SPHERE OF WORK
- Informing, Guiding, Counselling and Coaching students from class V to XII in the academy and in schools.
- Conducting coaching classes for various exams pertaining to entry as officers into the armed forces.
- SSB interviews, guidance and coaching
- Conducting rally based training for entry as other rank.
- Conduct motivational lectures and counselling sessions for trade.
- Providing a platform to individual candidate and parents for discussing personal issues relating to career in the armed forces.
- Providing a platform for discussing interpersonal relationship issues.
- Mock Interviews for all levels.
